Kenny blinked, eyes wide at the question. "Well yes." He wasn't so naive to think that everyone told the truth one hundred percent of the time but Kenny never lied. If he didn't want to answer something he just wouldn't say anything at all or change the subject, but lie? Never.

'Wow' Drippy murmured, shocked that he'd told her that he only told the truth. She was having a hard time believing it but she didn't press the issue, not wanting to upset or offend him any, since that wouldn't end well, or not in her eyes, anyway.

"I know it seems sort of unrealistic, but I don't like lying... on principle. I'd rather just not reply to something or change the subject than lie about it." Kenny explained thinking it might make his claim more believable.

'Sometimes you have no choice though' Drippy told him with a shrug of her shoulders, not really wanting to go into detail but simply explaining her thoughts and sort of justifying it to herself, too, in a way.

"I've never come up against a situation where I couldn't. I hope I never have to." Kenny wasn't sure what he would do if he did.

'Oh, okay' Drippy murmured, looking down at the ground now. He'd managed to successfully make her feel guilty, even if it hadn't been intentional.

His smile slowly faded at the sight of Drippy looking down at the ground. Had he said something wrong? "Is, uh... everything okay?" Kenny asked uncertainly.

'Yeah, fine' Drippy mumbled, realising once the words had left her mouth that she'd just lied. Surely he told those kind of lies, right? Pushing the thought aside, however, she shot him what she hoped was a reassuring smile before casting her gaze out over the water once again.

Kenny didn't know Drippy well enough to be able to tell when she was lying and even if he did know her better he didn't see why someone would lie about something as simple as that. He was just concerned for her so why wouldn't she tell him if something was wrong? "Okay."

'You should come swimming with me one day' Drippy decided after a few moments of quiet, not sure whether he'd agree or not after what he'd said about the lake earlier but thinking that it would be worth a try at least.

Kenny didn't really swim in the Black Lake but no one had asked him to before either. He liked being around Drippy, despite not knowing all that much about her. "Sure, why not today?" He added.

'I guess we could if you wanna swim today' Drippy told him with a shrug of her shoulders, having not expected him to be quite as willing as what he had been, not that she was complaining in the least about it!

Looking down at himself Kenny ran a hand through his hair. He was hardly dressed for swimming but he could be dried easily enough. He kicked off his shoes setting them aside as well as his socks. Shrugged out of his robes, removed his tie and placed those items, along with his wand, in a neat pile. Standing he turned to Drippy. "Ready whenever you are."

Drippy was quick to follow Kenny's lead, taking her shoes off and tucking her socks into them before shedding her robes and her jeans, leaving her in her shirt and boyshorts, before she dropped her wand down on the pile as well. Once she'd done so, there was no hesitation nor word of warning before she dived into the water, coming up gasping when she did. The water was cool, but definitely warm enough to swim in, that was for sure.

Seeing that Drippy had stripped down even more than he had Kenny wondered if he should at least take off his shirt, maybe even go as far as all the way down to his boxers but he wasn't nearly that confident. Before Drippy looked back to him Kenny pulled his button up over his head dropping that with the rest of his stuff and leaped in. "Well it isn't as cold as I thought it would be." Which Kenny was extremely glad for.
