"Precisely." Kenny nodded as he played along.

Drippy simply laughed at his one word, pleased that he'd played along with her.

Kenny, fond of Drippy's laugh already, smiled. "M'lady." He opened the doors for her to go on in first.

'Thank you' Drippy grinned before stepping inside, waiting patiently for Kenny to follow her.

Kenny knew better than to even suggest that they sit together. Drippy might not have minded him being a Gryffinfor muggleborn but he was aware that if he sat at her table the Slytherins would think it an affront. And her sitting at his table would bring Drippy more trouble than it was worth. Stopping just outside the Great Hall doors Kenny gave her a small smile. "Here we are." He announced unnecessarily.

Drippy wasn't stupid, she knew the way things were even if she didn't care for something like blood status. Good blood didn't always make for good people and yet she knew no good would come from aggravating the way things were. Instead she simply kissed Kenny's cheek lightly and thanked him before pushing the doors open to go in.

"Bye." Kenny waved watching Drippy go. Once she was out of sight though the hand that had been busy waving went to his cheek, tenderly touching the spot where Drippy had just kissed him, a goofy little smile coming onto his lips.
