"Reading for pleasure is exactly what I had in mind" Astoria informed, smiling.

"Cool." Kenny sounded a little more excited about it than he had intended to, downfalls of been a dork.

"What are you reading right now?" Astoria asked, ignoring (politely) his excitement, since she knew exactly the feeling.

"Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea." Kenny liked Herbology and Care of Magical creatures which had been what had originally turned him onto reading it. Turns out though it was actually an interesting read too.

"Any good?" Astoria asked, genuinely interested, "I can always use a 'next book to read'"

"Really good read. Although you do need at least a basic understanding for nautical terms and marine biology to follow along." He wasn't sure if those were the type of books that Astoria liked reading or not.

"Not for me, then" Astoria said with a small frown, "It's fine, I'm more into fiction anyway."

"Well it is fiction, science fiction to be exact." Kenny explained.

"Really accurate fiction, then?" Astoria asked, interested again, "How many terms are there that I wouldn't know, would you think?"

"Not too many I don't think. Speeds and depths in nautical terms, and the technical names of sea creatures and plants, but they usually explain what they are- the marine biology part." It did take a little bit of thought but not so much that you had to be an expert in the field to understand it.

Astoria nodded, then smiled, "Well, if you're willing to lend it to me when you're done, I'd love to read it."

"Of course I would be." Kenny didn't mind in the least. He hadn't met anyone that wanted to borrow his books yet, not that had mentioned anything about it at least, and Kenny was happy to share his love for books with Astoria.

"Good" Astoria smiled, "I appreciate that." She informed as she continued down the steps.

"Oh!" Kenny realized that he hadn't found out what Astoria was reading. "What about you? What book are you reading now?"

Astoria didn't have a genre she stuck to, really, mostly just reading classics and hoping that no one would notice she was reading muggle novels. "Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen" She informed, smiling, "A bit of a girly book, I'm afraid."
