Adorable, absolutely adorable. "That's a great reason" Astoria told him honestly. She couldn't think of a better reason to keep fit, other than health. From his admission, though, she presumed he already had such a thing planned out with someone - something she found equally adorable.

Knowing that Astoria didn't think him a sap made all the difference. A smile jumped onto his lips just as soon as the words were out of her mouth. Although with his luck with girls it all could have just been wishful thinking. "What about you? Have you any wants for when you're older?"

What did she want? Freedom. But that wasn't likely. "Not as of yet" She lied, because explaining it wouldn't make it better, and she didn't like talking about her future - or lack thereof.

Kenny didn't have any suspicions that Astoria might not have been being honest with him. He was a trusting person, naive even, to a point. "There's plenty of time to figure it out." He offered encouragingly.

"Of course" Astoria agreed, though it was presuming she got to figure it out for herself, and wasn't told precisely who she would be birthing heirs for. She began doodling on the glass again, listening quietly to the movement and rhythm of the cogs behind them.

"I could see you doing something great with your life." Kenny spoke up after a few moments of silence. "Like being a jet setter or working in politics to better the wizarding world." He may have been speaking out of turn, especially since they had only just met and Kenny knew virtually nothing about her- it was just a gut feeling he had.

Astoria smiled at him, "Not exactly my style, speaking in front of large groups of people. But thank you, I appreciate that you're... uh, you know, that you have faith in me." Because not many did. "I'll probably end up wife and mother, so I might change someone's world, just not everyone's."

It was easy for Kenny to have faith in her. She seemed so worthy of it with her apparent kindness. He bowed his head sheepishly at the thanks. "To be a mother is a very noble profession. Helping children grow and thrive, teaching them right for wrong and love and kindness. It's a big responsibility, but rewarding too, so I've heard."

Astoria smiled. She hoped to be that kind of mother. "What about you - other than grandkids, what do you want your life to be like?"

"Career wise?" Kenny had thought about it of course. "I want to help people, become a Healer." His mum was a muggle nurse and when Kenny came home that first year of Hogwarts telling her that Madam Pomfrey had healed his broken nose with a simple spell called, Episkey, it was the first time Kenny had got the idea in his head.

"You're too nice to be a healer" Astoria laughed, though she hadn't ever been as comfortable around a healer as she was around Kenny, despite not knowing him for very long.

"I don't know about that." Kenny rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "But if so then I just wont have to work on my bedside manner."

'That's true. I don't know, every healer I've ever had was grouchy" Astoria explained, "You should work in a Children's ward or something."

Hmm... that was a pretty good idea. Kenny liked kids, he had a certain knack for making them laugh, which what better medicine was there for sick children? "I think I might, if that's what I ultimately decide to do." Be like Patch Adams.

"You should," Astoria smiled at him, then back at the window, "Less children would be afraid of healers"
