"Well he was right there to help if needed. I guess I was a difficult case to teach or something." His dad wasn't a cruel man, although that hadn't been the nicest thing to do. But having not been old enough to remember the details, just the traumatic experience, if he hadn't done it Kenny might not have ever learned to swim.

'I suppose that makes it at least a little more okay then' Drippy murmured after screwing her face up slightly to think about it, crease appearing between her eyes and frown settling on her face as she did so.

"Yeah." Kenny concurred. The look on his face wasn't very favorable though. "You're prettier when you smile." He pointed out.

'Thanks' Drippy murmured softly, a smile spreading over her face once more, relaxing it of the expression it had previously been in.

"You're welcome." Kenny offered a smile of his own though it was goofy, as always. "You play Quidditch, don't you?" He wasn't much for the sport, or any sport for that matter- he wasn't very good when it came to athletics, but Kenny was sure he'd seen Drippy during a Slytherin game before.

'Yeah, chaser' Drippy agreed, a genuine grin spreading over her face. He'd struck a topic she enjoyed a lot and if he wasn't careful he'd have to listen to her rattle on about it for the rest of the time they spent together.

"Thumping good one from what I recall too." Kenny added now that he had confirmed she was the same girl he had seen playing. With the players zooming back and forth so fast it was hard to be certain.

'I...Thanks' Drippy murmured softly, cheeks flushing slightly. Being told she looked good had become bit of a common occurence where as being told she was good at Quidditch was a bit more of a rarity, and something that meant a lot more to her, too.

Kenny wondered what Drippy had been about to say before changing her mind but figured if she had wanted to say it in the first place she would have. "I kind of wish I could play myself but whenever I get on a broom its always ornery and tries to buck me off like a bull or something."

'That would be a little funny to see' Drippy giggled softly, not at all implying she thought it would be funny if he go hurt, but if it was close to the ground and he didn't get hurt she'd be a little amused.

"The kids in first year flying class sure thought so." Kenny grinned. "Think I even saw Madam Hooch crack a smile."

'Kids can be cruel. Does it worry you, not being able to fly well?' Drippy asked him curiously, wondering whether it did bother him or not.

"A little bit. But Quidditch and flying isn't really big where I'm from so I can get by well enough." It was Kenny's way of letting Drippy know that he was muggle, with the hopes it wouldn't bother her.

'Perhaps not where you were from, but it is in this world and you're part of this world too now, right?' Drippy asked him knowingly, grinning as she spoke. She didn't care, she'd grown up amongst muggles herself, since her parents had raised her in London.

"I guess I am." He had always felt like the odd man out every where but that didn't mean that it was true. "I should probably learn at some point. Madam Hooch did deem me unteachable though so might prove to be a problem."
