Also a little snotty - which she could deal with. "No, I think it's just that it draws my attention away from the hideous mark on your forehead." She teased, since obviously his face was flawless.

A mark? On his forehead? His hand started toward his face but stopped mid-way. "Funny." He commented, Rose had almost made him think something was wrong but that was ridiculous.

Rose laughed, shaking her head fondly as she stepped in front of him, walking backwards. "Your face is very symmetrical, though," She admitted, still only teasing him - who noticed that?

"I know." Kevin replied intentionally ignoring her condesending tone. She seemed to be amused by his confidence, which probably should have bothered him that Rose didn't take him serious, but it didn't.

"Mine isn't," She pointed out, "You still find me pretty, don't you?"

"You do have a more asymmetrical face." Kevin agreed. "But you are still drop dead gorgeous." Rose was one of the most beautiful girls he had seen in his life.

"You think?" Rose asked, smiling coyly. While not self conscious, it was always nice to hear someone voice how pretty she was. She slipped back to his side again, drawing his arm up and across her shoulders, hoping he wouldn't be too opposed. "How much farther to dinner, handsome? I don't know how much longer I can wait to have you."

"I do." Kevin confirmed. He wasn't the type to hand out a compliment if he didn't actually mean it, he wasn't that nice. "It's just around the corner." It was a little bit of a walk but nothing too bad. And when they rounded the mentioned corner Kevin opened the door for Rose.

Rose thanked him for the compliment and the door, slipping in in front of him. "So... where do you usually sit, then?"

The short oriental woman came bustling over to the couple taking two menus from the podium as well as two sets of silverware and offered them a wide smiled that made the crows feet at the edges of her eyes more pronounced. "Usual table?" She asked in her choppy English. Kevin gave a curt nod and she lead them through a red archway with Chinese characters written on it in black paint, past the fish tank with koi fish in it and sat them at a small round table for two, a bambo centerpiece decorating the otherwise bland table.

"That answers that," Rose smiled, sitting down as gracefully as she could manage, lowering her bag to the floor along with the clipboard and fliers that were inside of it. "What's good, then?"

"Chicken lo mein, sesame chicken, and fried wantons." Kevin ordered. The portions were plenty enough for them to share if Rose fancied any of it, but he looked to her for confirmation that she didn't want something different, adding while he waited. "A glass of green tea for me please."

"Vegetable chow mein for me, please. And tempura vegetables, too... And I'll also have a green tea, please." Rose ordered. Then smiled at Kevin. She didn't eat meat, so sharing was out of the question, but she was happy enough just being with him, so it didn't matter.

"You're a vegetarian." Kevin noted. Well if they were going to be dating he would have to learn these sorts of things. He nodded his approval. "Anything else I should know?"

"I'm insatiable?" Rose offered, smiling brightly. She wasn't sure what he wanted to know, really. She wasn't a difficult puzzle to figure out.
