Rose was handing out flyers. They were about the Unircorn hunting going on in Scotland, and she was outraged about it. She had no understanding and no patience for animal abuse, whether they were ethereal creatures or just normal ones. But no one was listening! So Rose, brilliant as ever, got up onto a bench, bellowing loudly about the injustice that was the hunting of unicorns - handing out flyers more furiously than before. Someone had to listen!

It was hard to ignore the shouting that was coming from down the street. If it hadn't been for the subject interesting him he wouldn't have bothered to follow the crowd, but Kevin too didn't like the idea of unicorn poaching. When he saw that it was Rose protesting he smiled slightly going up to her and gladly taking a flyer reading it over then and there. "Have you filed a grievance with the Department of Magical Care and Regulations yet?"

"Three," Rose answered, smiling quickly at Kevin before continuing to hand the things out, looking at the ignorant crowd. "Why do people not care?"

Three? That was odd that she hadn't gotten any responses. Perhaps she hadn't gone through proper channels or something along those lines. "Did you send it directly to the head of the department?" Most people did but it would take a very long time for the head to get to it. "Selfishness, Rose. That is why."

"I've gotten three letters back but each one was just as much of a write off as the last." Rose answered, "They're rude, too." She frowned, looking at him again.

"One voice makes little difference." Kevin mentioned. "Before they do anything you need more supporters.." Grabbing a second year by the shirt collar as he passed and pulling him toward them Kevin turned to Rose. "Do you have parchment and a pen handy? This young fellow would love to be the first to sign it." He knew where to send it to since Rose had indeed gotten replies. The second year nodded eagerly before chancing to ask what it was he was signing, which Kevin told him.

She wanted to kiss him. But she didn't. Instead, Rose opened her bag and held out a clipboard, parchment and a quill, smiling brightly. "Thank you," She said to Kevin as the first year signed, though it could be taken as going to either of them if the eyes Rose was making at Kevin were missed.

The boy looking from Rose to Kevin he'd signed claimed that he had some friends that he could have sign too if they wanted and looked to Kevin for approval, he nodded. Once the boy took off to fetch them Kevin turned his attention back to Rose. "You just have to appeal to specific natures with these things."

Now that he'd walked away, Rose did kiss Kevin, on the cheek, grateful. "I'm terrible with appealing to specific natures" She admitted.

A kiss on the cheek was nice, but it just made Kevin want more. "It's about observation mostly. Take her," He pointed to a girl. "Mention the word unicorn to her and she'll be gushing about it more than willing to sign. Go on, try."

Rose did as she was told, and, before she knew it, the girl was calling over a gaggle of friends and she had ten signatures. She thanked them, complimenting each, before going back to Kevin with a small smile, "Maybe I'll just hand over my cause to you, since you're so brilliant," She told him, resisting the urge to kiss him again - because she was sure it wouldn't end there, if she did.

Kevin nodded his agreement; he was brilliant. "How about I help you rather than do it for you?" He comprosmised.

Rose shook her head, "No, I'll just be holding you back, it's for the best," She decided, grabbing her flyers again and holding them out to him. "You'll be better off without me."

"And where might you go?" Kevin questioned not taking the offered flyers.

"I'll just sit on the curb watching you" Rose smiled, looking up at him.
