Draco looked around at his dormmates - or the ones who were present, anyway, with a frown. He was, for lack of a better term, bored. Bored of the school, bored of the same old. "We need to spice things up around here," He decided, directing the comment to Graham, the only other one who knew how to spawn a good plot. He had a few ideas, himself, but Graham always added something... special to his devious plans. Reaching into his trunk, he pulled out a bottle of Firewhiskey and poured himself a glass, offering it to his friend.

Sprawled out lazily on his bed Graham was flipping through The Daily Prophet though nothing of interest was within. His gaze shifted from the newsprint to Draco as he spoke up. "Define spice up." Graham asked diplomatically. He was so different around his mates than around the lovely ladies he spent the majority of his time with. Despite that careful tone that Graham used it was still obvious that his interest was caught as he laid the paper aside sitting up. He politely shook his head declining the offer for some Firewhiskey.

Interest piqued. "Y'know Flint," Draco said slowly, quietly enough that the boy in question wouldn't hear, "I reckon we could bet him something that would provide us with entertainment - and hurt Gryffindor's team at the same time." He explained, taking a drink as he did. "But Flint will need the right persuasion."

Graham raised a brow as if to say 'duh' of course he knew Flint but didn't comment on the obvious nature of that question. His expression was quick to alter however at the proposition of a bet. "Did you have something particular in mind?" Graham, meanwhile tried to think of what the right persuasion might be for Marcus.

It was as obvious as the sun in the sky that Katie Bell was in love with Oliver Wood. Draco thought it best to use this to their advantage. "We bet he can't get with one of the chasers on the Gryffindor team - namely Bell - and get her to tell him secrets, then break her heart." Draco explained, "So it's going to effectively get Slytherin ahead, while also pushing Gryffindor further behind."

If it were different circumstances Graham might have pointed out the fairness, or lack there of, in this bet. Katie had tunnel vision when it came to that git Wood. How could he be that blind? It was a waste of a pretty girl really but Graham kept these thoughts to himself. "You really think he could pull that off?" This was Flint they were talking about. He wasn't much for finesse and it seemed like it would require that. Draco must of had good reason for suggesting it though so Graham didn't shoot the idea down.

"Well I think he could with the right provisions." Draco pointed out, "For example, if someone" He looked at Graham pointedly, "Explained to her what she was missing out on, or perhaps... talked her into becoming disenchanted with Wood" He shrugged, "And Flint happened to be there when she realized... Or even happened to be there on a Hogsmeade trip that Oliver owled her and told her to meet him on." Draco smirked deviously. "I'm rather good with other people's penmanship."

Oh so he was actually going to have to do something for it to work. "And as a bet," Graham begun stretching his arms over his head to crack his back. "Given that Flint succeeds, what does he get out of it?" Sure there was the obvious benefit that the Slytherin Quidditch team would have a much better chance but beyond that what would be in it for Marcus?

"I'll toss a few Galleons his way. Really, he can't lose. I just think it would be fun to watch." Draco shrugged.

"Or..." Graham gave Draco a wicked smirk. "He might be more inclined to oblige us with this bet if he had something of the female persuasion at his beckon call for, say, a week." Money, Flint had though he was pretty stingy about it. But girls, who would turn that down. "Perhaps Pansy. She'll do anything you ask."

"Morag would be more likely to do Flint than Pansy would" Draco murmured, but he wasn't sure he was willing to share Morag (more than he already did, that was). "Pansy, maybe. Any other potentials?"

"Up to you." Graham shrugged at the suggestion of Draco's other main squeeze, Morag. "I'd have to think about it but I think Pansy or Morag would be your best bet." He didn't know all that much about the Ravenclaw, except that she was... experienced and on the Quidditch team herself, but Pansy did whatever Draco told her to so he figure Morag was the same way. Why else would Draco keep her around?

"I'll ask Pansy," Draco decided. For some reason he had a feeling this would be something she wouldn't oblige him, but he would sort that out when it came to it, "We could also just hire someone" He pointed out.

"If," Graham stressed. "Flint pulled it off." He reminded. Even if Marcus didn't pull it off at least they would be entertained for a little while and whatever damage that would be done to the Gryffindor team, bonus.

"Exactly. We'll pitch it two him when he gets back - with the reward of two hired females, I think would make the easiest persuasion." Draco decided, nodding.
