"Ah, but I don't have wide, child bearing hips. They might be disappointed." Astoria pointed out mock solemnly. The whole thing was ridiculous.

"I happen to like your hips." Graham winked. Besides it wasn't that big an issue anyway, not to him at least.

Astoria blushed, but tried to ignore it, "You know, I'm starting to think you do this on purpose to make me blush... like some sort of game."

"I do like seeing you blush," Graham admitted. "But it isn't a game."

"Why do you like seeing me blush?" Astoria asked, lifting a hand to her reddened cheek, "I hate it."

"Because I find it, you, cute. When you blush I know its genuine which is hard to find in a girl." Graham informed.

"Why would anyone ever want to fake blush?" Astoria asked, incredulous. She felt her blush worsening with his compliment, which was why she brushed over it. He was terrible - she was going go be permanently blushing, at this rate.

"Its all about control." Graham had thought a lot about this sort of thing in hopes that he wouldn't fall prey to it but being informed of something didn't mean that Graham was always immune. "Girls have the power, they use blushing and other feminine wiles to get us guys to do what they want. Some girls do at least."

"That's just silly - blushing is embarrassing." Astoria said again, frowning. "I don't understand girls, though."

"Females are very complex, for the most part, in some way or another." No two were alike, he had learned. Despite how different they were there was always something about them that was hard to understand. "I think you might have better luck understanding the meaning of life than the inner working of the female mind."

"But I am a female, shouldn't that count for something?" Astoria countered, eyebrows raised.

"It should, yes,"Graham agreed. "But it doesn't. You are uncommonly unique." He liked to think that he could understand her on a better level than he could most girls. Astoria didn't seem into the head games and the like, which Graham liked.

Astoria winced internally. That was definitely not a good thing, in terms of her parents and their desire for her to fit in. But Graham meant it in a positive way, right?
Well, even if he didn't mean it in a positive way, he would say it was positive. Before she could reply, there was another cup of tea placed in front of her, and she said a quiet "Thank you" though she wasn't sure which of them it was directed to.

Graham nodded his thanks to Madam Puddifoot then turned back to Astoria. "Its refreshing." He informed taking a sip of the newly arrived tea, this one just as good as the last.

Refreshing wasn't necessarily good, either. "Your tea?" She asked, though she knew what he was talking about.
