"It's only because I'd distracted you" Astoria assured, smiling weakly. Maybe Kevin wasn't so bad; he seemed decent enough. "Good game, though."

"Perhaps." Kevin agreed. "Though your defense was superb."

"I do my best" Astoria smiled, bowing her head slightly, "But I guess I should let you get back to your work. Thank you for the... advice."

"You're welcome. You must realize though that we aren't mind readers. It is often difficult for a young man to figure out just what you want from them. Some appreciate chivalry and others find it chauvinistic so its a very thin line." Kevin pulled his book back over to him flipping through it to find what he needed.

Astoria just didn't think it was chivalrous, that was all. It was chivalrous to dedicate yourself to a woman, to want and love and support her - open doors, be courteous. But Graham wasn't doing that. He was, undoubtedly, sleeping with other girls, and not at all doing that. It was one thing to have manners and another to be chivalrous. She didn't reply, though, since he'd started working, and packed up her things. "I'll keep that in mind," She decided quietly, then smiled weakly and went to leave.

"You do that." Kevin instructed glancing up from his text long enough to give Astoria a nod in parting.
