Piper slipped into the first available, empty, classroom letting out a little huff of frustration. This was the third time that day that she had twisted her ankle thanks to the stylish heels she wore on a daily basis. Like any respectable female would, Piper found some privacy to take a little rest. She sat down in a chair kicking off her heels to let her feet breath and propped them up on the desk in front of her hoping that the elevation would keep her ankle from swelling. Being seen like that was taboo, which was why she hadn't plopped down just any where. No, Piper had roughed it out until she came here. Admittedly, she was a tad uptight.

Draco didn't even consider knocking on the door as he stormed into the classroom. He was infuriated. All through Potions Morag and her partner were chatting and laughing and smiling and his patience had finally worn too thin, so now Draco was, quite simply, pissed off. He didn't apologize for storming in and interrupting, because he didn't care, even though he spotted Piper. "What are you doing in here?" He asked, taking in the sight of her bare feet and the shoes sat on the floor. His eyes were narrowed, even though it definitely wasn't her fault that he was annoyed.

It would have to be someone important to spot her in such a position, wouldn't it. Piper squared her shoulders, almost coming to attention in Draco's presence. The tone he was using did not escape her though, so, as Piper answered him, she slipped back into her heels readying herself to leave at a moments notice. "I was relaxing for a bit." She informed cordially offering a slight smile. "But if you need the room I can be on my way."

"Stay" Draco demanded, sitting down next to where she was sat, "What's wrong with your foot?" He asked as he looked down at her feet; one ankle looked slightly swollen.

She did as she was instructed not moving an inch until Draco inquired about her foot. "Female foolishness," Piper dismissed. She had dealt with this sort of thing numerous times and was certain that after staying off it for thirty minutes or so she would be good as new. Besides Draco surely didn't want to hear about the burdens of high heels. "Have you been well?" Really what Piper was asking was why he was in such a tizzy but knew better than to ask bluntly.

"Well enough," Draco answered, holding out his hands in indication that he wanted to see her ankle. "Looking attractive isn't foolishness," He pointed out, assuming that the injury was related to her shoes. His own mother wore them often, and when he was younger he would watch his father absently rub out her aches and pains while he read the paper.

Piper slipped her inflicted foot back out of the heel and offered it to Draco without protest. "Something that you know an awful lot about." She complimented him absently. It came naturally to her if the blood status was high enough. "You seemed a bit perturbed upon entering." Piper commented still not willing to ask any questions that Draco wouldn't want to answer, but leaving it open for discussion if he did.

Draco offered a half smirk in reply to the offhanded compliment, but didn't otherwise acknowledge it. "I was." He knew he was still perturbed even as he said it, but set to rubbing her foot gently anyway, ignoring that fact. "It happens to the best of us."

"Yes," Piper drawled rolling her eyes. "People do tend to make it uncommonly easy." She was easily annoyed herself. That wasn't the feeling plaguing her at the moment though. Instead Piper was content, smiling calmly at Draco's handy work.

"Yes, they do, don't they? It's my own fault, becoming fond of someone - that tends to make it easier for them to annoy you, doesn't it?" He asked, though didn't expect an answer, continuing to rub in his attempt to soothe.

For all she was worth, Piper resisted the urge to raise her eyebrows in surprise. "Oh?" She commented trying her utmost to seem nonchalant. "And who might the lucky lady be?" This was something that would be very valuable to know.

"Nice try, you'll find out when everyone else does" Draco answered immediately.

Piper smiled in mock sheepishness. "Well you can't blame a girl for being curious." She defended, though it probably wasn't necessary. "So irritation doesn't equal separation, hopefully the public doesn't have to be kept in suspense too long. You might have an even bigger uproar on your hands then."

"Not yet, but who knows. As for the public, they can shove it" Draco muttered. He knew he had no right to be annoyed, but he was. "What about you, anything new?"

That wasn't a very political way to put it, but Piper figured that it must have been due to his current irritation in the form of this mystery girl. "Nothing particularly interesting, at least in comparison to having a secret affair." What was the point in dating Draco Malfoy if not to have the prestige of having it public? Honestly, didn't the girl know how beneficial to her status that could be? "Daddy has been planning a trip to Spain for the holiday, which I'm excited about."
