He had always suspected that he was charming but Graham knew how fine that line between confidence and arrogance was, and he tried his best not to flirt with that line. So just let the comment slip by. "No, I guess I'm just used to it." His body temperature was usually pretty high though, for whatever reason Graham didn't know, but he imagined that helped.

Chris nodded and feeling a bit warmer, moved forwards again. "I could have sworn the kitchen wasn't this far from the tower last time I checked" She muttered. "But I was wearing a jumper then"

"They're just right around the corner." Graham assured her. When it came to such things he never bothered with time or distance. He was laid back enough to accept the fact that he would get some where when he got there.

"Excellent" Chris smiled as they came within in sight of the entrance. "I could use some hot chocolate." She rubbed her hands together,m trying to warm them. "You would think" She remarked "That there would be a spell to centrally heat large buildings, not just rooms"

Graham stepped up to the painting doing the honours of tickling the pear, but moved aside for Christianne to enter first; ladies first, after all. "Perhaps you could come up with a particular spell for that." He suggested.

Chris nodded her thanks and stepped through, turning back to face him with a raised eyebrow. "That would take considerable effort and energy on my part. All for a warming spell? It would cut into my study time" She told him, the glint in her eyes the only sign that she was being sarcastic.

"We wouldn't want that." Graham shook his head knowingly. He doubted that Christianne spent all that much time studying. He hadn't seen her in the library before, still that didn't mean much. It was something about the way she was looking at him that made Graham think she was being sarcastic.
