Audrey wasn't really a fan of homework. It wasn't to say that she wasn't good at it, just that she wasn't a fan of it. She didn't really enjoy sitting around furthering her knowledge in her own time, not when that was the professors job to do during school time, although trying to explain that to them when you couldn't produce the homework they'd assigned didn't really go over too well, as she'd fast learnt, which was exactly why she now sat at one of the tables in the common room, her back to everyone else as she slaved over a History essay.

Blaise had much the same philosophy; he paid people to do his homework for him. That wasn't to say that he didn't do well in school, because he did. No, he just didn't care for learning on his own time. He liked having his own time to do who and what he wanted. And right now, he wanted to do a certain blond. Knowing she didn't have the same ideas on homework as he did, he had a feeling she would be either in the library or the common room, and so left the warmth of his bed to find her. When he spotted her closer than he thought that she would be, a smile came to his lips, involuntarily. He never really smiled, but she was a different case.
He was across the room in three steps, brushing her hair out of his way and pressing his lips to her neck. "What are you doing, beautiful?"

There was no mistaking that voice nor the boldness of his actions. Audrey knew from the moment the first word left his lips that it was Blaise behind her, that it was Blaise distracting her easily distracted mind from the tedious task at hand.
'I know what I'd rather be doing. Unfortunately this is due tomorrow' She answered him simply.

"What is it?" Blaise repeated, hands finding her shoulders and kneading them gently. As much as she was what he wanted to do, he had every intention of helping her finish.

'Stupid history essay on Goblin rights. Like I actually care' Audrey told him with a heavy sigh. Truthfully, she'd been looking for him to distract her, at least for a bit, but of course he'd choose now to do the right thing.

"We'll pay someone to write it" Blaise offered, sliding his hands slowly down her arms.

'Someone will realise, Blaise. I always do my own work, if I stop now, they'll know it's not me writing it' Audrey told him, convinced of such a fact. Truthfully, she didn't want to disappoint her father by cheating and that was where a lot of this reluctance to let someone else do her homework came from.

"No one will notice," Blaise assured her, "It's Binns, he doesn't even read them" He said as he grabbed her hands, "Come on, love."

'I can't' Audrey mumbled softly despite letting him take her hands. She was torn because she wanted to go with him but she didn't want to risk disappointing her father, either and she was struggling to find a compromise to keep everyone happy.

"Can't or won't?" Blaise asked in her ear, squeezing her hands tightly, "Come on, Audrey, I miss you."

'You know I want to' Audrey murmured, a shiver running down her spine at the feel of how close he was to her.

"Finish it later" Blaise suggested, kissing her neck again.

'Why can't you be more patient?' Audrey whined softly, almost positive that he wouldn't wait for her, that he wouldn't play this pleading game for much longer. She wouldn't, and that was exactly why she began to pack her stuff away, not wanting to risk losing this opportunity.

"Because I'm better than that" Blaise reminded her, pleased that he seemed to have gotten his way.

'I assume you'll continue to tell yourself that no matter what anyone says' Audrey told him with a grin, stuffing the last of her stuff into her back before twisting around to look at him.
