Well she was a Hufflepuff. "I thought it was just some joke I wasn't getting." Elle appeased with an answer disregarding her worries about seeming stupid.

Elle didn't think if she were in Slytherin she would have been as friendly as she had been with George, but having not spent a lot of time with many Slytherins she didn't want to say anything negative about them. Maybe there were just a select few that were jerks, like any House. "Hufflepuff."
