Weeding

Being Head Boy had it's pros. It looked good on his character, and when he applied for jobs people would notice that. Draco liked looking good, and therefore liked his position. But there were cons. One was not being allowed to play quidditch, and another was that he had to do the bidding of Professors; for example Professor Sprout. She had to run an errand, and needed the greenhouse cleaned up, and so had asked Draco to do it. An hour later, he was still weeding some dumb plant, and wondering why he had agreed to any of this.W

The greenhouse was one Charlotte's favorite place. She loved nature and was often outside or in the greenhouses most of the time. Plants were her escape from reality. The brunette had tons of vases in her room filled with different varieties of flowers. Charlotte made her way to the greenhouse, and when she stepped inside she saw Draco. "Why are you weeding that plant?" She asked. Shouldn't Professor Sprout be doing that?

Draco turned, eyebrow cocked. "Who are you to question me?" He asked. He was already in a bad mood, and here she was aggravating him?

[charlotte]

"I was just wondering." Charlotte said quickly. She could tell that he was in a bad mood and she didn't want to get him even more in a bad mood. She looked at the plants, and occasionally watered them.

[draco malfoy]

"What are you doing here?" Draco asked, watching her. Sprout hadn't mentioned anyone else coming through.

[charlotte]

"I'm just here to look at the plants, and see if Professor Sprout if was here," Charlotte said, continuting to look at the plants. "Am I not suppose to be here?" The brunette asked, even though she knew the answer.

[draco malfoy]

"Not really" Draco informed, watching her carefully, work forgotten. What was she up to?

[charlotte]

"Well to bad." Charlotte said simply. She turned to face him and looked at the plant he was weeding. "How long have you been weeding that thing?" She asked him, with a tilt of her head.

[draco malfoy]

"Too bad?" Draco asked, crossing his arms over his chest, "Are you aware that you're talking to the head boy?"

[charlotte]

"Of course I do. I'm not an idiot you know." Charlotte said. She walked over to the plant that he was weeding earlier and looked at it.

[draco malfoy]

"Then I suppose you know you're also getting a detention." Despite the fact that to Draco, she did seem to be an idiot.

[charlotte]

When he said that she was going to get a detention, the smile on Charlotte's was almost brighter than the sun. "Perfect." She said to herself. Now she had another things that would get her parents mad. The brunette couldn't careless about how happy her sister would be. The only thing she cared about was her parents reaction when her sister told them. Obviously she wouldn't tell them herself. It would make her seem like she was trying to get a detention on purpose, which she kind of was. Charlotte couldn't help but think that he would think she was either crazy, an idiot, or maybe a mix of both now.

[draco malfoy]

She wanted detention? It seemed that way from the smile on her face. "You know what, no, I won't give you a detention, I'll just kick you out." He decided, thinking that would annoy her most, and grabbed her by the forearm, starting to drag her to the door.

[charlotte]

"What did I do to get kicked out?" Charlotte asked with a smile. She didn't remember doing anything wrong to get her kicked out. "By the way, I want that detention." The only reason the brunette asked for a detention was because she didn't want to ruin all the plants in the greenhouse to get a detention. It wasn't worth it.

[draco malfoy]

"You aren't supposed to be in here, that's why you're getting kicked out, and I noticed that you wanted a detention, which is why you're not getting one: Draco responded, and since she wasn't struggling, hauled her towards the door.
