Miles spun around in his swing a bit. Then stopped to kick the ground a bit. Shrugging his shoulders he grinned at her. " Just being Miles. Which means doing random nothing type of things." he said with a laugh, the grin on on face still. But it was rare for it to never not be on the boys face. " What have you been up to?" he asked her.

Being random was always entertaining, at least Alicia had found it to be in the past. "Oh, you know... Quidditch, out doing Katie in pretty much everything," It was an exaggeration of course but Alicia liked to pretend otherwise. "Date nights with George. Just keeping busy in every way possible that has nothing to do with doing actual school work."

He gave another smile. " Your life is so much more interesting then mine!" he said. And then like a child would do. He spun his swing all the way around. Then let go letting the swing spin him. Then started laughing. He had yet to fully grow up. He was more like a eight year old trapped in a fifteen year old body.

"Interesting... or different? It's all about semantics, mate." It was adorable how playful Miles was, winding himself up on the swing and spinning out like a top. Laughter was always infectious to Alicia and at Miles' she too started to laugh.

Miles shrugged his shoulders. It was both interesting and different. Granted Miles made his life 'entertaining' to an extent. But at the same time he never did much. He just talked to people a lot and went to class. The two of them were in two totally different 'worlds' to an extent. " I don't know. Both I guess. More interesting and more different" he said with a nod of his head. " I'm too much like a kid." he said.

"We are kids." Alicia pointed out. She was two years old than Miles was but, essentially, still a kid herself. "No sense in rushing to grow up when, once you do, you're just going to miss it."

" That's true." he said. Then pumped his legs in the air to swing higher into the air. " But I act like an eight year old. Not a fifteen year old. I should be acting like a child of fifteen." he said with a bit of a laugh. " But, oh well, if everyone was the same way it would be a boring place." he told her.

"Hear, hear!" She cheered her agreement. People tended to grow up too fast so if Miles acted like he was eight, Alicia figured that he was just getting a few extra years to have under his belt. There was no faulting him in that.

Miles was glad she didn't take him the wrong way. Some people would look at Miles and his child ways. Then judge him way too fast. And just be annoyed by him. It was mainly the Slytherins that did those things. He often got picked on for the way he acted. But it never made him grow up. Because some people didn't mind it. His child ways sometimes took people away from reality. He pumped his legs and got higher. " I bet I can fly higher then you!" he said getting a head start.

What was the point on picking on people unless it was one of two things. Either completely good natured or they deserved it. For Alicia she stuck to the formative in most cases, which usually couldn't even be considered picking on someone but rather joking around. And as for the latter, that was reserved for dillhole Slytherins and pompous jerks. "Oh you are so on!" Alicia was a sucker for a challenge.

Miles let out another laugh. He was glad to have someone that was aceptting his childish ways. Not that he didn't have people that accepted it. It was just she was actually playing along with him. " Nobody has ever beat Miles before! I'm the champ!" he said pumping his fist in the air and nearly losing balance of falling off the swing. " Woah!" he said clasping on and then making sure to pump his legs faster. " Never hear! My fans! I may have almost fell but I am going to be quick as can be and beat the nemesis!" he shouted out to nobody really.

"Ah, but you've never faced someone of my magnitude." Alicia pointed out positively beaming at the childish nature of Miles, it was infectious, especially when it came to someone as prone to it as Alicia was. "You should be afraid. Very, very afraid."

" No! I will win because I always win!" he said. And with that he reached over as he continued to swing. And grabbed her swings handle and shook her a bit. Hoping it would make her slow down and lose her balance a bit. " Oops! An accident!" he said giving her an Innocent grin. Yes, he was a Hufflepuff but if he was just not following kiddish rules did it really make him a bad person?

As her swing was rattled, her balance wavered slightly making her yelp loudly only to be followed by laughter. "You dirty cheat!" Alicia tried to seem upset about it but she was too busy laughing for that facade to work. It did manage to slow her down a bit too.
