Alicia had been strolling through Hogsmeade but nothing seemed to be catching her interest. She could have gone to The Three Broomsticks like always but her feet had decided to lead her in the opposite direction. Before Alicia knew it she was standing at the chain link fence of the park watching as a little boy shot down the slide and into his mother's waiting arms.

Miles was throwing a ball up in the air. He was bored. The weather was nice outside as well. So he figured he'd wonder around a bit. He strolled along the park when he spotted a girl. A girl he sort of knew so he walked over. He didn't know her all that well but he knew of her. " Hey Alicia." he said giving the girl a smile as he stuck the ball in his pocket. Then looked out at the park. Hoping he wasn't bothering her. But Miles was a people person. He liked company.

It took Alicia a moment, but only a moment, to place the boy's name. She was sort of borderline incompetent with names unless she spoke with a person on a daily basis. "Hey Miles." Alicia returned the smile not at all bothered by him being around. "What's brings you out here? You know besides wanting to push me on the swings?"

He grinned at the girl. Then glanced over at the swings. " I want to push you on the swings?" he asked her. As if she knew what he was thinking and he just had yet to think it. He laughed a bit. " Well, umm. That and I had nothing better to do today. Plus it's not a bad day out!" he said the grin never really leaving his face.

Alicia nodded slowly in confirmation. She had only been teasing at first but hey, if Miles was agreeing to it why shouldn't she take advantage of it? Looking up at the sky Alicia had to agree. "It is awfully nice out today." With another small smile Alicia took Miles by the hand leading him through the gate.

" Yes, it is." he said with a grin. He really loved days like these. But Miles was the type of person that found good in any type of weather. But he knew today was a day many people enjoyed. For the fact he saw a lot of kids at the black lake. And his little brother was taking advantage of today. Hence his brother deciding not to show up for drinks. He was sure his brother was at the Black Lake of the sorts. Allowing himself to be taken through the gates he laughed. " To the swings. To fly Alicia into a world unknown to anybody until now." he said jokingly.

The weather mattered little to Alicia because no matter the condition it was a guarantee that she would still be out doing exactly what she wanted to. She supposed that was one of the many perks of not being prissy, she could got get dirt under her nails without having a bitch fit. "Oh really?" She asked excited. "So you've got to be super strong or something to accomplish that. Can we make it Jupiter, I hear its nice there." Alicia returned the same joking manner.

He blinked a few times. Then let out a laugh. He hadn't realized it was a joke at first. But he wouldn't let her know what. He sometimes took things too literate. But he also soon caught onto a joke. Besides he did have a good sense of humor and he was a joker himself. But he was always that guy that laughed at the joke after it was already done being funny. " Yes, I have massive strength." he said jokingly. He was not all that strong. But he was sure he could push her alright enough.

"Great." Alicia announced nodding for emphasis. She took a seat on one of the empty swings, in effect, relinquishing her hold on Miles in favor of gripping the chains instead. "Just be gentle with me, kay? I'm very fragile you see and I think Wood would have a major cow if you broke me."

Miles nodded his head. " Don't worry. I won't harm you." he said grinning. Then grabbed the chains and started to push her. " If you think you're going to break just tell me to stop!" he told her.

As was custom when swinging, Alicia's legs pumped back and forth in time, though most of the work was left to Miles. "Bet you make all the girls swoon with these sorts of things." Alicia glanced over her shoulder at him. "You know, being all tough and rugged."

His face turned a light shade of red. " Oh, you know how I do." he said jokingly. Miles was far from rugged and tough. But he could pretend. But this wasn't something a 'bad boy' would be doing for someone. He continued to push her. " So, how much longer till you reach your destination?" he asked.

"About another minute then you can join me." There was a row of four swings all together on the set so the one directly next to her definitely had Miles' name on it. She supposed that she could stop being lazy and talk with Miles on a more face-to-face level.

He continued to push her up in the air a bit longer. " Okey dokey." he said with a grin. But before she really could tell him he was done swinging her. He stopped short and sat down next to her in a swing. " Hello!" he said waving at her randomly.

"Hey! I said a minute." Alicia pouted, though a smile broke onto her lips a fraction of a second later. "What has Mr. Abbott been up to these past few weeks? Inquiring minds must know."
