Change?

Blaise was always intrigued by the Shrieking Shack - specifically how it was sealed, and no one could get in. He had to wonder who had done that. He presumed it was Dumbles, but he could never know. That was why Blaise maid a point of going to the shack every time he visited Hogsmeade, just to see if it was changed. As he stood near the fence, he realized that nothing had changed - something that made him sigh, though he wasn't sure whether in annoyance of relief.

'Your mind sounds weighted' Audrey commented lightly yet in a concerned manner as she approached Blaise by the Shrieking Shack. Whether this was really the case or not, she wasn't sure, but the sigh she'd heard him emit hadn't sounded too reassuring, or that was the way that she was taking it, anyway.

Blaise's defences rose from the comfortable place he'd been when he heard Audrey's voice. "No, love, I'm fine," He assured, putting his little mask back on for her. As much as he adored Audrey, it just... it was easier to do things this way.

[audrey]

'That's what my grandfather used to tell me when he had no choice but to celebrate the holidays in the same house as my father' Audrey shared quietly with just the faintest smile on her face although it was hardly a genuine one. She wasn't so much accusing him of lying to her as she was telling him it was okay if he was, that she was used to it and she was aware that it was a possibility.

"Smart man" Blaise said simply, turning around to lean on a tree and look at her instead of the shack. "What brings you out here?"

[audrey]

'I was just walking past until I saw you, then I thought I'd come say hello' Audrey told him with a gentle shrug of her shoulders, not bothering to tell him that she'd actually been looking for him. Two could play at the keeping things from each other game.

"Just walking past the Shrieking Shack?" Blaise asked, looking around at the trees. Not exactly on main street. She was looking for him, even if she wouldn't admit it. "Where were you headed, the forest?" He teased, smirking.

[audrey]

'Maybe I was meeting someone' Audrey teased right back, all but outright saying that she'd planned to meet him there since she'd caught wind of him being there after hearing two girls talking about him as she walked past.

"Should I be jealous?" Blaise asked, eyebrows raised.

[audrey]

'Most definitely' Audrey told him with a nod of her head, doing her best to fight off the urge to grin.

[blaise zabini]

"Alright, I guess I'll get my wand - I've got someone to hex" Blaise nodded, "It was only a matter of time."

[audrey]

'Don't be ridiculous, as if there's anyone better than you' Audrey scolded with a soft giggle.

[blaise zabini]

Blaise smirked, "Couldn't have just said that in the first place, could you have?"

[audrey]

'Course not' Audrey laughed, shaking her head at him.

[blaise zabini]

Which was part of the reason they would never work out. "Oh, of course not."
