Lazy.

Lazing around wasn't something Katie did often. But after her run, she started getting terrible cramps and decided it was high time she laid around for a while. It was one of the few remaining sunny days of the year and she wasn't going to waste it, though, so she laid out in the quad on one of the benches with her forearm covering her eyes, willing the pain to leave her abdominal so she could go play footy with the Hufflepuff boys on the lawns.

Alicia had been in a rather cheerful mood all day but when you woke up on the right side of the bed, or in her case woke up to George, in the morning it was bound to happen. Spotting Katie on a bench in the Qaud Alicia went over to her and if it hadn't been for the pained look on her face would have sat down right on her stomach. Instead she sat on the edge next to Katie's legs. "Need some Midol?" She didn't have any on her but Alicia was willing to run up to the dorm and get Katie some.

Katie looked up at Alicia's cheery voice and wrinkled her nose. "Not that kind of cramp. But thank you." She said as she sat up. "What's got you so chipper?"

[alicia spinnet]

She nodded in acceptance. Not much she could do about the other kind of cramp except to simply let it pass. Why was Alicia so chipper? A large grin appeared on her face. "George and I had our first date last night." Alicia had never thought that she would be like most other girls in this situation, all giddy and almost hyper with excitement.

That got Katie's mind off of her cramp quickly. "And? What did you do?" She asked excitedly, straddling the bench to look at Alicia.

[alicia spinnet]

"We watched fireworks, had some Butterbeer..." But that wasn't the part that Katie would be most intrigued to hear about. " And then I spent the night with him."

[katie bell]

"You... you What?!" Katie asked, eyes widening, "Floozy, on your first date - I mean, I'm not surprised, both of them have charm coming out their ears, but... Wow, I'd have thought you would at least hold out."

[alicia spinnet]

Alicia laughed. "I said I spent the night with him, I didn't have sex with him."

[katie bell]

"Then what in Merlin's name did you do?" Katie asked, eyes narrowed.

[alicia spinnet]

"A lady doesn't kiss and tell." It was an awfully good thing Alicia wasn't a lady. "We snuggled, mostly."

[katie bell]

"Adorable, aren't you?" Katie all but sneered. Stupid Alicia and stupid George, being all cute. "I hate you romantic types."

[alicia spinnet]

That's what she was now, wasn't she? A romantic type? Alicia recalled having laughed at other couples being all lovey dovey withone another, well the joke was on her. "I hate us too." She laughed. "Don't be so surly, Oliver just needs a push. If he weren't our Captain I would be more than happy to push him down the stairs, knock some sense into the thick head of his."

"Maybe I'll just date someone else - that'd push him. If he'd even bloody notice." Katie muttered, frowning. Then, realizing her folly, tried to perk up. "So, Cuddling?"

[alicia spinnet]

Alicia, completely ignoring Katie's question, went back to the more interesting topic. "Really? Like who? Did you meet someone?" She was probably getting ahead of herself but she couldn't help it.

"No, but I could. I could just find the person that Oliver hates the most and go date him - that'd show him." Katie said with conviction, then frowned, "I want to talk about you - I ruined your date gushing."
