"Its horrible really, I do." She stumbled only slightly. "Now where are those Butterbeers?"

George bent to his handy backpack, digging out two bottles of butterbeer and opening them without hassle, handing one over. "A beverage for the lady."

"Thank you." Alicia grinned suppressing her laugh for him opening the bottle for her- wouldn't want to break a nail. "Did you and Fred design the fireworks?"

"We did, yeah" George nodded, opening his own butterbeer as well, "They're good - really good. We're probably going to start selling them once we've got everything perfected."

"No doubt they're good." Fred and George were brilliant when it came to that sort of stuff, real creative and the like. Alicia took a long sip of her Butterbeer relishing in its sugary goodness.

"Thanks for the faith," George grinned, then bent to retrieve the single firework set he'd brought. Deflagration Deluxe had all the goods - the shocking pink-wheel, fire-breathing dragons, sparklers that spell out profanity, rockets with long tails of silver stars, and standard firecrackers - and he had a plan to make these ones last as long as ten times the fireworks. Setting them off, one by one, until the sky was filled with light, George then pulled his wand and tried to vanish them, multiplying the fireworks tenfold with a grin.

Alicia gazed up at the sky in awe. George really had out done himself. It was so beautiful that even someone as un-girlie as Alicia had to admire it. She was in a bit of a daze when she reached over to slip her hand into George's. "Wow." She cooed.

George just beamed, watching the sky (and sort of wishing that Fred was there to see it) "Glad you like it," He said, closing his much larger hand around Alicia's.

A sensation welled up in Alicia, something like what she'd imagine butterflies fluttering about in ones stomach might feel like. But she wasn't sure if it was because of the fireworks or George holding her hand. She tried not to think about it though. There was no way that Alicia was going to turn into one of those ridiculous hopeless romantics.

A short (he would have to work on that...) while later, as the fireworks all died out, George turned to his date. "Well?"

Alicia turned her attention to George looking over him slowly. "Well..." She drawled. "It was amazing. You're a genius actually. The dragon was my favorite, but the sparkling profanity is definitely up there too. How do you think this stuff up?"

"Natural brilliance," George beamed, "With Fred's help, of course."

"Is there any other kind?" Alicia returned, brow raised. "Especially when it comes to The George Weasley?"

"You're right, I am always naturally brilliant." George beamed, leaning down to kiss her again as he squeezed her hand. "But then, so are you."

Alicia was annoyed with herself, when George kissed her she got that stupid weak in the knees sensation. What was wrong with her? She didn't swoon. "Goes without saying." She forced herself to say casually.
