Bloody Slytherin fools! Alicia was mumbling obscenities under her breath as she headed to the Hospital wing, her side aching, bruised, probably fracturing a rib while she was at it. It was supposed to just be a pick-up game of Quidditch to shut some cocky Slytherins mouths but it ended up with Alicia being double teamed and a Bulgder aimed right at her exposed side. Oh, as soon as she was healed Alicia was going to beat the living daylights out of them. She had been stupid to agree but they had challenged her and when it came to Quidditch, Alicia couldn't walk away from a challenge. Her arm was draped over her side holding it gingerly as she stepped into the Hospital Wing.

George hadn't been playing. George, instead, had been up on a landing in the staircase tossing dungbombs at first years. He only stopped when he was about to chuck one and spotted Ali clutching her side and moving towards the Hospital Wing - or Myrtle's bathroom, but he figured the former was probably more accurate. Packing up his things rather quickly (dungbombs to pockets was the procedure, pretty well) he bounded down the stairs until he was walking next to her, eyebrows raised jokily despite the fact that he was undoubtedly concerned. "Fighting Giants?" He guessed.

"Accurate enough," Alicia let out a pained laugh the action causing her side to twinge. "They were tall, brutish and dim-witted." Her smile was half-hearted but to no fault of George's. In fact, Alicia was thrilled to see him.

Slytherins, then. His fist clenched and he was glad it wasn't in the dungbomb filled pocket, but the other. "And what, the giants just up and attacked you?" He asked, eyebrows raised in a still joking manner, though his worries were only growing.

"No," Slytherins were stupid but not that stupid, at least not usually. "Got hit by a Buldger in a match." Everyone knew that they played dirty so it was partially her fault for subjecting herself to it without a proper ref.

George's eyes narrowed. "Who was your beater?" Because it wasn't him or Fred. These new kids didn't know what the hell they were doing!

And this was the part where it was even more Alicia's fault, "I didn't have anyone as a Beater. It was just me and Mags." Two Chasers, Mags being the reserve on the Gryffindor team. "They challenge me though so I couldn't say no." Hopefully George would understand.

George wasn't sure how to respond to that. "Ali, you know how they play," He pointed out, "Giants are a dangerous business to get tangled up in without any sort of defense..."

"I know." Hey, Alicia never claimed that she was all that bright. "I just wanted to shut their smug mouths."

"Turned out well for you, I see" George smiled. He couldn't help it; he was worried, but one of the things he adored about her was how tough she was.

"Shut up." Alicia punched his arm weakly, not having the full range of motion that she normally did, laughing just as feebly.

"Are you alright?" George asked seriously, worried by the weak punch.

"Not too shabby." She assured. Alicia had had worse it was just there was a stitch in her side that was giving her a bit of difficulty when it came to leverage. "Nothing a tonic wont fix up."

"Oh is that all? Just a tonic, perfectly fine" George rolled his eyes, "Get a beater next time."

He wasn't happy with her, but it was a fact of life. Alicia nodded. "Sure thing."
