For Drippy, the Slytherin common room had become her home. It was a place she'd never had before attending Hogwarts and she absolutely loved nothing more than curling up in front of the fire with a good book, which was exactly what she'd chosen to do today, legs curled up underneath her body and eyes focused on the pages of the autobiography she'd chosen to read on one of her favourite Quidditch players. Something that she'd actually enjoy reading, that was for sure.

Draco didn't understand the idea of "home" because he had always had one; a damn nice one, at that. He treated the common room like anything else: his play thing. And so, walking in and spotting the blond on the couch didn't phase him in the least, he dropped onto a nearby arm chair and watched her for a moment before deciding he was more important than her book was. "Evening, Moore. How are you today?"

'I'm good. How're you, Draco?' Drippy asked curiously after looking up from her book to see who'd spoken, lowering it slightly when her eyes landed on Draco Malfoy. She didn't close the book, however, not sure whether he was going to hang around or simply just talking to her for a few moments and then leave again. If he decided to hang around, maybe then she'd consider abandoning her attempt to read.

"Well enough." Draco nodded. He refused to call her Drippy, as she preferred, finding it to be an altogether unflattering name. She was foolish for preferring it. "What are you reading?"

'Autobiography on a quidditch player' Drippy told him with a smile, not sure whether he'd care for it or not, but feeling as though it was a decent enough thing to be reading. Better than reading something fictional, right? Better than allowing yourself to believe something that wasn't even close to being true.

Draco nodded, noting the way the book made her smile - in case he had to purchase her a gift at any point, of course - "Would you like me to go so you can continue on?"

'No, you're welcome to stay' Drippy told him, taking note of what page she was on before closing it up. She refused to fold the corners of her pages, not liking the idea of creasing them permanently and so she simply kept note of what page she was up to when reading, therefore keeping her books in better condition.

Since that was the case, Draco stood, moving to her couch. "Anything interesting going on with you, then?" He asked, putting his feet on the table in front of them.

'Not today. How about you, anything interesting going on with you today?' Drippy asked Draco curiously, wondering what he'd got up to earlier that day. For her, it had mostly consisted of sitting on the couch and simply reading her book quietly.

"I'm probably the most interesting person in this castle" Draco reminded her, though he'd not done anything particularly special that day. "I've mostly been doing rounds, though, it's all been rather dull."

'You're so arrogant it's amazing' Drippy laughed, shaking her head slightly at him. It was funny though, the arrogance suited him, rather than got annoying, or it did in Drippy's eyes, anyway. Odd, but completely truthful.

'Everything, hey?' Drippy asked him, still laughing softly, not at all being implicative about anything in particular, simply just quizzing him, seeing whether he'd admit that he had any flaws at all. She doubted it, truthfully, but it was worth a shot, that was for sure!

'What if I told you I didn't think everything about you was amazing?' Drippy asked him curiously, not actually meaning what she said, but wanting to know what he'd say.
