Ankles crossed on the coffee table in front of the couch, Blaise was sitting doing nothing in the common room, as he found himself doing so very often. He just had nothing to do. There was just nothing to do in this damn castle. He considered the options; maybe he could sneak out?

As Piper had been heading back to the common room she had the great irritation to run into a spider web. Honestly, weren't the House Elves doing their jobs? They had it far too comfortable if one were to ask her, free elves, what a joke that was. Her mood rather sour she sauntered into the common room sighing in exasperation as she swatted the cobweb off of her shirt sleeve, taking a seat near the fire on the couch without bothering to look to see if she was intruding. Not that Piper would have cared even if she were.
