Katie was going to get her Fanged Frisbee back if it was the last thing she did! The twins had bought it for her for her birthday, and now it was collecting dust in Filch's office - but not for long. She'd thought up an elaborate plan to get it back, and now, as the twins caused a ruckus (making Filch leave his office) it was time to put it into action! She rushed the door, finding it pleasantly unlocked, and stepped into his office, amazed at the treasure trove of things she found there. She knew she didn't have long, but she thought to take a bunch of the stuff she'd found. There was a whole shelf marked "Weasleys" and she figured the boys would be happy to have their things back, too.

Fred had abandoned his brother half way through what could only be described as some mutated form of a game of Chicken crossed with an anatomy lesson, involving dried paint, dungbombs, and one particularly enraged caretaker. They were fast running out of dungbombs, those essential ingredients, and so Fred had managed to slip away to see how much longer Katie needed them to continue, but also to possibly see if he could grab any confiscated dungbombs from Filch's office.
So, blue paint smeared across his cheek, Fred hurried to the office, only to find Katie simply dilly-dallying around with old junk.
"Fancy seeing you here," he said, hoping to make her jump, as he leant against the door frame.

Katie did, in fact, jump. "Fred, you fool!" She muttered, turning around with wide eyes, "Scared me half to death, you know, when I was just stood here trying to figure which of your things you would want back!" She accused, then turned back around, looking at the shelf again, muttering under her breath about not doing nice things for him anymore.

"Well you're not exactly being very careful, are you?" Fred tutted, shaking his head at her as he joined at her side, perusing casually through the shelf. "Nor are you being very quick. My poor brother is going to have muscle cramps tomorrow! Plus, you now owe us about a sickle in dungbombs."

Katie looked at him again, bemused, then grabbed a bag of confiscated dungbombs off the shelf in front of her. "I'd toss them, but..."

Fred immediately took the bag from her, grinning mock-appreciatively. "Wonderful, we'll make sure to use them only for good," he announced, then swiped the Fanged Frisbee from her with his free hand. "Here, this is all dented. Don't take very good care of tokens of love and affection from your friends, do you?"

"Not my fault!" Katie assured, though she was lying, "Filch's grubby paws got it, remember!? Besides, it wasn't a token of love and affection - you don't love me, otherwise you'd be making sure Filch doesn't come back and catch us both!"

Fred just raised an eyebrow at her, completely calm, "You do realise who you're with, don't you?" he pointed out, wondering if Katie actually understood who she was talking to. Fred Weasley did not get caught on little ventures like this. "Besides, George has got it covered. There's a back-up plan involving a rather complicated Irish jig. Don't ask."

Don't ask? But now she definitely wanted to know! She did as he said though, because asking him would just lead to some other sort of ridiculous. "Sorry for doubting you, almighty king of the sneaks" She drawled, grabbing another Fanged Frisbee from the shelf, just in case - besides, this one was in better condition.

Fred took that frisbee from her too, shaking his head, "You can't have that," he chastised, "You've already got one; that's just selfish. If you're going to do this, you're going to do it right. There a moral code to sneaking, and selfishness is sternly frowned upon." He paused to frown sternly at her, then put the second frisbee back. "Besides, you want to carry lots of small things rather than one big'un. Sometimes I forget that you're completely ignorant, Katie - you usually bluff it so well."

"I'm sorry, Fred, so, so, so sorry. Teach me your ways?" Katie drawled very sarcastically.

"I'm afraid you've just not proven yourself worthy of my teachings yet," Fred sighed gravely. "But I will tell you that, if there's ever a chance of straying from a plan, you have to tell your accomplices first."

"Are we straying from our plan?" Katie asked, frowning.

"You are," Fred corrected. "Grabbing other stuff, spending extra time. What if George and I hadn't anticipated you needing any extra time - we might've gotten caught, and that would've been your fault."

"But it's you and George" Katie pointed out, "I took that into account - you're always prepared."
