Kurtis flipped to an blank page, beginning to draw the landscape in front of him, "It's a great spot for it," He said with a small smile.

"As long as the...giant squid? I guess, remains hidden." She shuddered. That fact alone would forever ensure she did not try to swim in this water. "Thats an odd thing to have as the school creature."

"The giant squid is a pretty cool school creature, really - and it stops the lake from becoming a big beach party in the summer" Kurtis shrugged. "I think the squid's pretty cool."
