Astoria was a fast learner, and she hoped that would translate to quidditch. She had no interest in getting up in the sky, but she wanted to understand it, at the very least. Then she could properly enjoy the game, and maybe be around quidditch players and actually have something to say. That was why she had been sitting in on all the practices she could, watching quietly from one of the stands. Today was no different. She didn't know what team it was, but she knew they were good - and she still didn't understand the game at all. As they finished up, she also descended, only to find someone standing on the steps to get down. "Oh... I... sorry"

Chris, whom had come out for some fresh air after finally completing her rather lengthy potions essay, nodded to the other girl, also in Ravenclaw robes. She thought she recognized her as the sister of one of the Slytherin girls. Dismissing her housemate's apology with a vague wave of her hand, she offered a half smile. "Not a problem. It's Astoria is it not?"

Astoria nodded, smiling weakly. "Just sitting in on a practice" She explained with a shrug.

"Right. Yes, I enjoy watching them" Chris said "I can't join the team myself, so this is the next best thing I suppose." She glanced up towards the sky, a wistful smile on her face, before returning her attention to the other girl. "I'm Christianne by the way" She had no idea if the other girl knew her or not, although she she did remember talking to her sister, Daphne, at a party once. Still, she decided to play it safe.
