There were half a dozen things that Morag needed to do but most weren't all that important and could be done at a later time. "Besides the Apothecary I needed to stop in at the book shop and pick up a book I had them locate; Arbatel de magia veterum." The Apothecary shop wasn't even all that pressing. The items she needed come be owled to her if Morag put in the request. That was another thing she liked about the one in Knockturn Alley, they catered to their customers.

"Done with the street peddlers for today, then?" He asked, leading her back from where they'd come from, now that he knew her destination.

"It probably is best if I am." Morag didn't think that exploring the peddlers any further was in her best interest. There was only so much bleeding heart actions that Draco could handle she was sure. "Did you get everything that you needed already?"

"I was just heading back," Draco admitted, "I've finished everything I need to do, and have a room nearby." He explained. But he would rather spend the downtime between now and his evening out with her than alone.

"As long as I'm not keeping you from anything important." Morag laced her arm back with his. Draco's mention of having a room didn't escape her. Morag hadn't been planning on staying the night but if Draco asked her to of course she would say yes and he knew that.

"I was planning to go out to London later - dancing, that sort of thing - if you're interested in joining?" Draco asked, since he knew she would join him, and have a great time.

"Of course." Morag bowed her head slightly a little bit mocking. "I am, after all, forever at your service." It was true despite the sass.

"Well if you're going to be like that about it, I'll just pick someone up at the club." Draco sassed right back, "Your loss."

Morag smiled up at Draco softly. "I actually meant that." She cut out any of the sarcasm that might have been in her tone before. The back of her hand gently brushed against Draco's cheek.

The tender action took Draco by surprise, and he nodded briskly, feeling odd about all the emotion involved. "Right, well... good."

Now that he understood her place in all this Morag shook away the affection having done her job. The fact that Draco seemed to be taken aback by it was cute. Surely he knew that Morag's parents wanted her to stay on his good side, thus they would stay on Mr. Malfoy's good side. Morag might have been spoiled but she was still dutiful.

Draco, uncomfortable as he was with what had just happened, had to wonder about it. Morag was a smart girl - she knew what it took to keep him happy, and she needed to for her parents' sake (or so they thought). Did that mean she was playing him? The thought annoyed Draco, and suddenly he felt as though the whole thing had been contrived. The fact that it probably had didn't escape him, either, and that annoyed him even more. He didn't say anything, though, opening the door for the bookstore and gesturing for her to go in first. After all, let her think she had him fooled.

Morag didn't really know whether or not she acted the way she did with Draco solely because her parents suggested she did or if it was anything more. Yes, she liked being around him but wasn't sure how she would act if she didn't have ulterior motives with him. Would she be as careful as she was to keep him happy? Morag frowned at the thought and stepped in past Draco. "Thanks." She muttered going over to the waiting employee. Unlike Diagon Alley there was no friendly smile on the man's face when Morag approached asking for the book they had procured for her.

Draco followed her in, but not to the counter, instead browsing the books on the shelf closest to him, finding himself annoyed by his train of thought. He would have to test her, but that was par for the course.

Morag glanced over at Draco not at all bothered that he wasn't right at her side anymore. He wasn't the clingy type, which Morag liked. While the employee went to go get her book from the back Morag leaned over the counter getting a quill and a scarp of parchment scribbling down, in her neat script, the title of the book that her father had asked her to inquire about while she was there. Something that Morag nearly forgot, distracted by Draco. Exchanging the money and the parchment for her book Morag instructed the man to find the next one for her. A thick leather bond book wrapped in velvet was cradled to her chest when she went back over to Draco.
